Privacy notice

This notice describes how ResumeToWord handles your document for the anonymous converter. Preview conversion runs on your device; download costs $1.99 USD. We do not upload your PDF or Word file. Payment is processed by Stripe. It states product controls, not a claim of legal compliance.

Who hosts the site

Cloudflare hosts the public website and static assets (CDN) only. Cloudflare is not a document processor — we do not receive your file for conversion.

These lines await a real sole-prop trading name or registered entity and jurisdiction from the operator — they are not a made-up company.

Cloudflare hosts the site (CDN). Stripe processes paid download payments. There is no server resume processor in the P0 client path — conversion runs on your device. DPA/SCC packaging for Cloudflare and Stripe is a product draft / counsel residual, not claimed complete.

Where conversion happens

Conversion runs entirely in your browser (including a WebAssembly Python convert engine loaded progressively). Your PDF stays on your device; the editable Word file is created locally and downloaded from your browser.

Cloudflare delivers the converter bundle; your browser performs the conversion. We do not operate server-side job storage, upload URLs, or download endpoints for resume files in P0.

What we keep

We do not store your PDF or output DOCX on operator servers. There is no server-side access window, expiry, or delete lifecycle for file bytes in P0.

  • Essential telemetryOpaque operational metrics (no resume text) up to 90 days in aggregate form.

What we do with your file

We do not receive your file for conversion. We do not use document text for training, ads, or profiling. We do not store extracted document text in the database, logs, or analytics.

We collect essential operational metrics only (for example stage/status codes and error codes). We do not put document text, filenames, or secrets in logs or analytics. Marketing tags stay off the converter.

Open-source notice

The on-device convert bundle includes AGPL-licensed components (PyMuPDF). Corresponding source for the networked convert stack is offered at github.com/romekosipyan/cv2word. See also /open-source.txt. Producer-notice obligations versus output metadata stripping remain a counsel residual.

Limits of this notice

Formal legal-basis wording, user-rights language, cookie/banner requirements, DPA/SCC packaging, and filled operator identity / launch-country jurisdiction are human/counsel residuals. This notice does not claim GDPR/CCPA compliance or that counsel was hired.
